ralston golf club

Awarm welcome to Ralston Golf Club, I am delighted you have taken the time to visit our website and I hope it will encourage you to learn more about our ‘hidden gem’ of a Golf Club.

Captain Iain T Gordon

It is a wonderful honour to Captain the club in this our 106th year, and I am sure we will go from strength to strength building on the foundations of previous Captains and Councils. My intention is to sustain the improvements of recent years and even during these times of recession, look for opportunities to enhance the club even more. We have a facility where members and friends can relax in good company, enjoying the wonderful food and entertainment we provide with, of course, a dram or two. We pride ourselves with an excellent social section with a variety of events running throughout the year. I urge all members to come along and support the functions we have organised.

The course has changed considerably over the years, I am sure for the better, and offers a challenge to all levels of golf with some tricky holes to test your nerve. With a very committed greens staff the condition of the course always attracts favourable comment from members and visitors alike, but I ask that our members and guests respect the course by repairing divots and plug holes during play.

The finishing hole provides a panoramic view that stretches over Glasgow and Paisley all the way to Ben Lomond. It also gives a commanding view of our famous weeping ash tree at the back of the 18th green and our magnificent clubhouse.

Visitors are most welcome to enjoy the course by booking through our Club Secretary, Brian Hanson or Club Professional, Colin Munro.

Our Club Manager, Karen McLeod, and her friendly staff cater for a variety of events, including private functions organised by club members. We have a clubhouse to be justifiably proud of and it is complemented by excellent menus to suit the discerning palate prepared by our Chef, David Ewing and his staff. I guarantee if you have not had the opportunity to visit our Clubhouse you will be very impressed.

If this has whetted your appetite to experience a friendly and progressive club, why not enquire about membership, our Club secretary is more than happy to give you a tour of the facilities we have on offer. This is the time to make the move to a new social adventure.

Finally, I wish all our members and friends a successful golfing season and I look forward to playing with as many of you over the season and to joining you at the many planned social events.

Iain T Gordon
Captain

With something for everyone, the social and dining facilities are the envy of many golf clubs and a key factor in people choosing to join Ralston Golf Club. Joining is made easier with preferential and flexible terms where you can choose to pay fees over 1 to 5 years. Brian Hanson, the Club Secretary will be delighted to arrange for a tour of the Club and provide all the information needed.
